Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 10, 2026
In short: No account required. We do not sell your data. We process the links and searches you submit to deliver MP3s, and we do not currently use advertising trackers.
What we collect
When you use Spotify2MP3, here is what we process:
Spotify URLs and search queries — used only to look up track metadata and fulfill your conversion request.
Technical data — IP addresses and browser type may be logged temporarily for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting. These logs are rotated and not retained longer than necessary.
Necessary session data — first-party security controls help keep active conversion and download requests associated with the correct browser. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Contact messages — if you email us or use the contact form, we receive the information you choose to send so we can reply.
We do not collect your name or email unless you contact us. We do not access your Spotify account.
What we do not do
We do not:
— Sell or rent your personal data
— Require account creation to use the converter
— Track you across other websites with advertising pixels
— Build marketing profiles or sell behavioral histories
— Use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar advertising SDKs at this time
Files and downloads
When you convert a track, we process audio so it can be delivered to your device as an MP3 with metadata and artwork when available.
We do not maintain a personal download history or user-specific media library. Files and related technical records are handled only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the service.
Third-party services
We use a small number of service providers for essential website operation, security, and contact-message delivery. They process connection or message data under their own policies only as needed to provide those services.
If we add privacy-friendly analytics or optional advertising in the future, we will update this page before enabling them.
Cookies
Spotify2MP3 uses strictly necessary first-party cookies for security and download delivery. They expire automatically and are not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking you across other websites.
Your browser may also store local queue state so progress can survive a refresh. That information stays on your device and is not a cross-site tracker.
Your rights
Because we collect little personal data, most requests are straightforward:
Right to know — ask what we hold about you (usually nothing persistent beyond contact emails you sent)
Right to deletion — contact privacy@spotify2mp3.com
If you are in the EU, UK, or California, GDPR/CCPA rights may apply where relevant.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to how we handle data, we will update the date below. We will not apply less-protective practices to previously collected data without notice where required.
